Knox Community Health Service (KCHS) was created in 1996 to provide a high quality of community care, health promotion and education programs to the Knox Community. Currently KCHS employs over 90 Health Professionals, Management, Administration and Support Staff Services who deliver services through a multidisciplinary team approach to ensure all the needs of the individual are addressed.
In addition to individual services we also provide a range of exercise, nutritional, parenting, behavioural, social and support activities and programs These services, activities and programs are available to people of all ages who are living, working or studying in the city of Knox.
Knox Community Health Service places special consideration on access to services by the whole community. Access measures include free services for youth, low cost services for health care/pension card holders, priority appointments for clients in crisis or pain, flexible working hours and after hours services, ensuring our facilities are accessible for the physically challenged and we have a range of bi-lingual staff, interpreting service availability and translated material for clients from Culturally And Linguistically Diverse (CALD) backgrounds.
