Dental Services
   

The Knox Community Health Service has a 10 dental chair clinic which delivers oral health care to a broad range of community members who live in the outer eastern metropolitan area of Melbourne.


The Oral Health program provides a range of dental services which includes:

The Pre-School Dental Program: available to any child in aged 0-5 years.

The School Dental Program: available to any child in primary school.

The Youth Dental Program: available to all seconday school aged adolescents who are on a health care card.

The Adult Dental Program: available to any community member over the age of 18 who is on a health care card.

Prority Access: available to any community member over the age of 18 who is on a Health Care Card or Pension Concession Card



Emergency care is available for adults with urgent oral health needs through a triage to determine the urgency for treatment) and the access to services.

As part of our commitment to sustaining quality services the Knox Community Health Service Oral Health program hosts final year Bachelor of Dental Science and Oral Health students from Melbourne University as part of their final accreditation to become fully qualified dentists and Oral Health Therapists.

The Oral Health service is in very high demand and waiting lists apply for services to adults.
