Lesley-Anne Sleep - B Bus. (Acctg), MBA, CPA, FTIA, MAICD

President

Positions Held: Director (from 1997), President (from 2005), Treasurer (2000-2005), Finance Audit and Investment Committee (from 1997-2010)

Background: Lesley-Anne has 30 years of executive leadership in accounting and systems design. She is passionate about the rights and life choices available to those living with disabilities and remains excited and challenged to be part of the continual development and growth of full health and wellbeing services for Knox communities.

    Background: Peter is a Computer Consultant who specialises in infrastructure development and support. He is married with two daughters and has been involved in community activities through Knox Little Athletics and his local church. He is passionate about contributing to the continued growth and quality of services provided by KCHS.

    Lesley Richardson - BSc.(Physiotherapy)

    Positions Held: Director (from February 2009), Vice President (from 2009), Quality & Risk Committee (from 2009)

    Background: Lesley is a physiotherapist with over 20 years experience in vocational rehabilitation for people with a disability or injury. She believes the client should always be the key focus of any service provision with continuous improvement of service quality seen as critical to ensure high levels of client and stakeholder satisfaction.

    Cameron Moroney - B.Bus.



    Treasurer

    Positions Held: Director (from November 2008), Treasurer (from 2008), Finance, Audit and Investment Committee (from 2009), Quality & Risk Committee (from 2009-2010)

    Background: Senior executive leadership positions at COO / CFO / CIO level across multi-site complex service businesses. Executive responsibilities have encompassed strategy/business planning, market/business development, customer service delivery and support, financial and performance management, facilities management, information systems, supply/major contract negotiation, insurance and risk management.

    John Bassilios - B.Com. (Fin), LLB, LLM, G.Dip App Fin, GAICD, F. Fin, MAICD

    Positions Held: Director (from May 2010), Strategic Committee (from May 2010), Secretary (from November 2010)

    Background: John has over 10 years experience as a lawyer. He is a Senior Associate with law firm Hall & Wilcox where he practices in the areas of corporate commercial, financial services and banking and finance. John also provides advice on corporate governance, directors’ duties, compliance and risk management.

    Background: As a practising GP in the Knox area for almost 25 years, and former Chair of Knox Division of General Practice, Dr. Igor is well acquainted with health issues in general, and the Knox community in particular.

    Background: Paul is a highly experienced IT Professional. His career spans a number of economic sectors at various organisational levels. His experience includes not only project management, IT operations and infrastructure management, but also strategic planning.

    Trevor Spicer - B.Bus., CPA, MAICD

    Positions Held: Director (from May 2010), Chair Strategic Committee (2010)

    Background: With over 20 years executive experience in risk management , strategic planning, finance and compliance, in the Not for Profit and Transport sectors, Trevor has a personal interest in using this experience to see continued improvement in community health care. Currently he is the CFO for Global Interaction, an International mission organisation.

    Election Results

    Following receipt of 37 ballot papers, the CEO met with the Returning Officer, Kate Sargeant on Monday 30 August 2010 and in the presence of a scrutineer - one of our KCHS members Rob Verity, and in the presence of Board Directors Lesley Richardson and Lesley-Anne Sleep as observers we counted the returned votes.

    As notified in the brief report from the Returning Officer below the results in order of votes received was as follows:

    • Peter Hill
    • Lesley Richardson
    • Cameron Moroney

    As three Community Board positions were being filled, KCHS would like to confirm that the following three candidates have been elected through this process.
